Something strange is happening in Seabrook. “ Enchanting, mysterious, and deeply romantic, The Lighthouse follows a young woman’s breathtaking journey far from home to discover where she truly belongs. I loved when everything started coming together and you start to understand the bits and pieces that were woven in from the start. It was a lighter read than the thrillers I am usually drawn to, so it was a welcome change of pace for me. If you enjoyed the movie (or novel) The Shack, you’ll enjoy this book. We can’t truly know what happens in these circumstances, but I like to believe that something does. It is the kind of story that is fantastical, but he presents it in a believable way. I think the author does a good job at connecting all the pieces together. It was bittersweet to finish the last words! And those last few chapters had me dabbing my eyes with tissues. Once I got to the OMG moment, I knew I would be reading until the last page, long into the night. I read from Chapter 26 to the end in one sitting because I couldn’t put it down. As the events unfolded and things were oddly connected together, I got more curious and more emotionally invested in the story. Right from the beginning, it tugged on my heartstrings. Haunted lighthouse? Strange events? Yes, please!

The back cover blurb for this book got me interested right away.
